“Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment.” Maria Montessori
The toddler years are the foundation years. The little blossoms listen, observe, understand, perceive and grow best by their experiences. We at KGIS understand the importance of ‘Early Childhood Education and Care’. We believe that early learning goes beyond the years.
We aim to provide full support to every child in their quest to explore the best in them, by engaging them in our rich learning environment and providing them congenial environment and genuine affection. We foster a passion for learning and exploration that will last in child a lifetime, and instill in them moral values which respect the environment as well as people and their cultures. Our children will leave us with excellent skills of independence, an ability to engage in meaningful play, and knowledge that they are capable, loveable and valuable members of the community.
We have crafted our methodology and pedagogy taking inspiration from the principles of globally acclaimed leaders of early childhood education life Reggio Emilia and Montessori.
Over 85% of a child’s cumulative brain development occurs prior to the age of 6, so we give extreme importance to appropriate care and stimulation of the brain in the early years in order to ensure healthy brain development and growth. We put a strong emphasis on ‘Activity Based Learning’ to enable children to develop their language, numeracy, social and emotional skills, while playing with alphabets, languages, numbers, colours, shapes, while arranging blocks, while sharing etc. The principal aim of early education is to create environment in which the little daffodils can blossom swaying happily in the wind.
